Activate a local pro space on my host account
You're a host AND you run a local business (restaurant, shop, events…)? Add a pro space to your existing account, no need to create a second profile.
Casabee distinguishes two account types: hosts (who create welcome guides for their properties) and local pros (restaurants, bars, shops, event organisers… who want to be listed in the guides of hosts in their area).
You can perfectly be both at once — for example, you rent a vacation home AND run a restaurant. Rather than creating two separate accounts (two emails, two passwords), you can add a pro space to your existing host account.
What's it for?
Once your pro space is activated:
- Your local business shows up in the recommendations of other hosts in your area — not just in your own guides.
- You publish your events, offers and rewards from a dedicated dashboard.
- You get statistics on which hosts recommend you and which travellers interact with your listing.
- You keep a single login (same email, same password) for both spaces.
How to activate the pro space
- Go to /hosts/settings.
- Open the « My spaces » tab in the sidebar.
- You'll see a card « Do you run a local business? » — click « Activate my pro space ».
- Fill in the minimal form:
- Company name (e.g. The Little Bistro)
- Address (pick a Google suggestion so we can fetch the GPS coordinates automatically)
- Category (restaurant, bar, shop…)
- Click « Activate ».
You'll be automatically redirected to /partners/dashboard, your new pro space.
You can fill in the rest later
The activation form only asks for the bare minimum. Once in your pro space, you'll be able to add your logo, description, opening hours, specialties, events, etc.
Switching between your two spaces
Once both spaces are active, a new menu appears in the top right: you can switch from your host space to your pro space in one click, without re-logging in.
Two independent subscriptions
Your host space and your pro space each have their own Stripe subscription. They are independent:
- You can be on a free plan on the host side and a paid plan on the pro side (or the other way around).
- Cancelling the subscription of one space doesn't affect the other.
- You receive separate invoices for each.
Deleting one space without affecting the other
If you want to close only your host space or only your pro space, you can do it from the « My account » tab of the relevant space's settings. The global account and the other space remain intact. See also: /hosts/settings.
