Activate a host space on my pro account
You're a local pro AND you also rent out accommodation (vacation home, Airbnb, B&B…)? Add a host space to your existing account, no need to create a second profile.
Casabee distinguishes two account types: local pros (restaurants, bars, shops, event organisers… who want to be listed in welcome guides) and hosts (who create welcome guides for their properties).
You can perfectly be both at once — for example, you run a restaurant AND rent out an Airbnb apartment upstairs. Rather than creating two separate accounts (two emails, two passwords), you can add a host space to your existing pro account.
What's it for?
Once your host space is activated:
- You create digital welcome guides for your travellers: arrival instructions, wifi code, recommended restaurants, local points of interest…
- You order physical materials (cards, flyers, QR codes) to leave in your properties.
- Your travellers access your guide by scanning a QR code, no app download needed.
- You keep a single login (same email, same password) for both spaces.
How to activate the host space
- Go to /partners/settings.
- Open the « My spaces » tab in the sidebar.
- You'll see a card « Do you also rent out accommodation? » — click « Activate my host space ».
- Enter the name of your host business (e.g. « Sun Villa », « Bay Rooms »).
- Click « Activate ».
You'll be automatically redirected to /hosts/dashboard, your new host space.
You can fill in the rest later
The activation form only asks for the bare minimum. Once in your host space, you'll be able to add your logo, description, property address, default guide appearance, etc.
Switching between your two spaces
Once both spaces are active, a new menu appears in the top right: you can switch from your pro space to your host space in one click, without re-logging in.
Two independent subscriptions
Your pro space and your host space each have their own Stripe subscription. They are independent:
- You can be on a free plan on the pro side and a paid plan on the host side (or the other way around).
- Cancelling the subscription of one space doesn't affect the other.
- You receive separate invoices for each.
Deleting one space without affecting the other
If you want to close only your pro space or only your host space, you can do it from the « My account » tab of the relevant space's settings. The global account and the other space remain intact. See also: /partners/settings.
